Our Background & Mission

Our wildlife team at work in South Africa.

Background

Southern Wildlife Resources LLC was formed in 2007 by Dr. Jonathan Gassett when he saw a critical need for a group of wildlife experts to provide assistance in natural resources management to private citizens, corporate landowners, and government agencies. He specifically developed Southern Wildlife Resources to:

  • Resolve the growing conflict between urban wildlife and human populations
  • Manage the increasing demand for fish and wildlife for recreational use.
  • Specialize in conservation land management, planning, and education.

Coyotes can cause significant damage to property, pets, and livestock.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be the leader in managing, conserving, and protecting the wildlife resources for our customers. We will accomplish this mission by providing professional expertise that promotes common-sense decisions and processes that benefit private landowners, communities, corporate partners, and governmental and non-governmental organizations.
